A horse’s spine plays a vital role not only in movement, but in overall wellbeing and performance. Whether your horse is a leisure companion or a competitive athlete, maintaining spinal flexibility is key to comfort and longevity. Chiropractic care is often sought when issues like back pain, lameness, or reduced performance arise—but its benefits go far deeper. By influencing the nervous system, chiropractic adjustments can support digestion, immunity, and even emotional balance.
Because horses are naturally adaptive, they may mask discomfort for long periods, compensating with subtle changes in posture or behavior. Over time, these compensations can lead to secondary strain and more serious biomechanical issues. Chiropractic treatment takes a whole-body approach—identifying and addressing the root cause of dysfunction, not just the symptoms. It’s a powerful tool for restoring mobility, relieving pain, and helping horses return to their best.
As dogs take on more physical and mental challenges—from agility sports to everyday play—their spinal health becomes increasingly important. Chiropractic care helps maintain flexibility, prevent degeneration, and support recovery from injuries or strain. It’s also used to address behavioural changes, systemic issues like incontinence, and chronic conditions such as hip dysplasia or disc problems.
Subtle signs like reluctance to jump, uneven nail wear, or changes in temperament may indicate spinal dysfunction. Chiropractic treatment offers a gentle, whole-body approach to restoring comfort and mobility—helping dogs stay active, balanced, and well.
