As a child Isabelle always had a deep passion for all animals, in particular horses and ponies. Throughout her childhood Isabelle owned and competed her ponies in all disciplines. In her teens Isabelle worked with Arabian racing stallions, gaining great knowledge in handling and training of these graceful and powerful creatures. This only fuelled Isabelle’s desire to find herself a niche within the animal-world from which to start her career.

However, Isabelle’s real calling came when, following her own recovery of a back injury, thanks to Chiropractic, her pony suffered a crashing fall, fracturing her back. Following x-rays, confirming at least 7 vertebra fractured, most in at least 2 places, Ivory underwent strict box-rest for months. With the Vets having done their bit and Ivory well on the mend, Isabelle ensured the Chiropractor and Sports Massage Therapist attend the mare prior to her coming back into work. Within 8 months of her injury Ivory was back out showjumping and on top form. Isabelle’s passion for Chiropractic was confirmed, she also wanted to help horses to be free from pain and be the best they can be.

In 2003 Isabelle qualified as an Equine Body Worker, having studied Equine Sports Massage Therapy in California, USA, under the expert tutoring of the world acclaimed Debranne Pattillo. Isabelle went on to study for 5 years, full-time, in order to obtain her BSc (Hons) degree from McTimoney College of Chiropractic, qualifying her as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Isabelle is registered with the governing body, The General Chiropractic Council, a member of the United Chiropractic Association and holds relevant Professional Indemnity Insurance.

In her first year following graduation Isabelle set up two clinics, one in Ruislip and the other in Staines, Middlesex.

Isabelle then underwent over 250 hours of post-graduate training at the gold-standard school in Animal Chiropractic, the International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic. The IAVC teach Chiropractic only to registered Doctors of Chiropractic and Veterinary Surgeons, due to the complex knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics required. As a graduate of Veterinary Chiropractic, Isabelle went on to be welcomed as a member of the prestigious International Veterinary Chiropractic Association, the largest of its kind in the world.

Isabelle takes great pride in providing an exceptional service to her clients and their animals. Her aim is to restore health and reduce pain of the animals she treats, while educating others on the real benefits Chiropractic Care can bring to you and your animals.
